Also the aft deck, accessed from inside through a
large sliding glass door, has comfortable U-shaped
seating around a teak table to savour alfresco dinners,
have a drink at the bar or chill out after taking a dip.
Here you can also observe the careful attention paid to
movement for guests and crew alike around the yacht,
as this deck leads to the flybridge without having to
pass through the interior, to the engine room without
bothering guests, or to the bathing platform and tran-
som garage down two side staircases. Speakers here are
connected to the saloon audio-video system with Bose
PMCIII remote control.
The bathing platform, which descends hydraulica-
lly down to sea level, is a true leisure hub, with TV
and phone connection, hot/cold swimming shower and
seawater tap. Here we also find the hydraulic passerelle
for access from the quay, the entrance to the crew quar-
ters and the door to a garage that can house a 4-8-me-
tre RIB, a jet ski, surf boards and diving and fishing
equipment.
The flybridge, with its own secondary wheelhouse,
is the largest of the outdoor spaces. Well sheltered
from the wind and spray by the windscreen, and from
the sun by the sliding hardtop that supports the radar
arch, it boasts a relaxation area with U-shaped sofa,
storage chests, natural-finish teak tables and a sunpad,
as well as a full bar with hot/cold water, fridges, ice
maker and electric BBQ grill. The vast space here can
also fit sun loungers and all the extras you may require.
The two-seat wheelhouse is just as well-equipped as
the main one, as here there are engine repeaters, full
instruments, autopilot, plotters, radar and communi-
cations equipment.
ENGINES
The Sunseeker 86 Yacht can be fitted with twin 10- or
12-valve MTU 2000 M94 engines that deliver 1,622hp
or 1,950hp respectively. With a range of practica-
lly 1,000 miles at an economical cruising speed of 10
knots, this engine layout provides a top speed of ap-
proximately 30 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots,
with enough range to take on countless nearshore crui-
ses or blue-water crossings, the only restriction being
long-distance ocean voyages. In short, a luxurious boat
that for her length occupies the mid-point of the Yacht
range – the British yard also produces the Sport Yacht,
Predator, Manhattan, San Remo and Portofino ranges.
She is aimed at owners looking for a cruiser offering the
maximum comfort possible on a 27-metre vessel, with
finishes that ooze quality and details that they can cus-
tomise to their liking. What’s more, the 86 comes with
as-standard features that guarantee smooth sailing and
can adopt all the technological or equipment-related
upgrades that the owner may desire.

HESSEN
51-METRE
MYSKY
DELIVERED
TO OWNERS
MySky
is the brand new 51-metre superyacht launched
by Dutch shipyard Heesen. Her full-displacement hull
weighs 600 tons, and with a range of 3,200 miles at a
speed of 12 knots, she is a true long-range cruiser. Frank
Laupman of Omega Architects penned her exterior li-
nes, producing a superstructure with stylish side win-
dows that run practically the whole length of the boat.
The owners’ choice of architect Erick van Egeraat for
the interiors also reflects the desire to create a yacht that
is contemporary and sophisticated in equal measures.
MySky
can accommodate up to 12 guests in five lu-
xurious cabins, with the full-beam owner’s stateroom on
the main deck and the others on the lower deck.
Guests can enjoy a large main dining saloon with bar
connected to the aft deck, where there is a stunning
outdoor living-dining area. The design also includes a
saloon on the upper deck with 270-degree views next
to a terrace perfect for alfresco dinners, a large sundeck
with hot tub, a gym and a forward helipad that can also
serve double duty as a discreet sunbathing area.
Powered by twin 1380kW MTU engines, she can
reach a top speed of 15.6 knots. The yacht also featu-
res twin 150kW generators plus an emergency one of
67.5kW, as well as Naiad Dynamics Zero Speed stabi-
lisers.
PERINI NAVI
SEAHAWK,
A 60-METRE
KETCH
With a waterline length of 50.43 metres, the new Pe-
rini
Seahawk
reflects the natural evolution of the pres-
tigious Italian shipyard’s 56-metre series, which now
boasts a total of 10 units, although thanks to the inno-
vations included in the design, technology and archi-
tecture, conceptually she should really be considered a
new model within the series built by Perini.
